Martin James 2 Jan 2020 Footage of NTT Pro Cycling rider being manhandled sparks outrage as park officials claim Dlamini 'injured himself' Promising South African rider Nic Dlamini had his 2020 season derailed before it even began after an altercation with security officials while on a training ride left him hospitalised with a broken arm. The incident occurred in the Table Mountain National Park near Cape Town on 27 th December. Footage recorded by one of Dlamini’s ride partners shows the 24-year-old NTT Pro Cycling (formerly Dimension Data ) rider being roughly manhandled by several park security staff and forced into the back of a vehicle.
