Tour Series 2021 postponed until August

Photo: SWPix The Tour Series 2021 has been postponed until August, three months later than originally planned, to ensure it can go still ahead safely. Event organiser SweetSpot worked with British Cycling to reschedule the town and city centre races from May to the first two weeks of August, with a men's and women's race in each round. Confirmed dates and locations are yet to be announced, however highlights will still be free to watch on ITV4. This comes after the news that the Rutland-Melton International CiCLE Classic, due to take place in April, has been cancelled for 2021. SweetSpot is also looking into holding the first virtual Tour Series to fill the empty space in the road racing calendar caused by the pandemic. See related Cyclist magazine issue ...
