Tom Pidcock Returns To His Roots With Launch Of New Yorkshire Sportive

Jack Elton-Walters 28 Apr 2021 Off the back of a phenomenal first stint in the WorldTour, Pidcock looks ahead to August for his own Yorkshire-based gran fondo Tom Pidcock has launched an eponymous Gran Fondo, which will take place on Yorkshire Day – Sunday 1st August 2021, along with the launch of new social app for cyclists. After his first two months in the WorldTour this year saw him at the pointy end of several races – taking victory in Brabantse Pijl, missing out by millimetres on another win in the Amstel Gold Race, plus taking three other top 10s – Pidcock is looking ahead to representing Team GB at the Tokyo Olympics. It is after the mountain bike race at the rescheduled Games that the Yorkshireman will return to his home county for the inaugural edition of The Tom Pidcock Gran Fondo.
