Tiesj Benoot heading to Team Sunweb next season

Joseph Delves 14 Aug 2019 Young Belgian Classics rider formerly linked to Team Ineos will instead leave Lotto-Soudal to bolster Team Sunweb Winner of the 2018 Strade Bianche, Tiesj Benoot is off to Team Sunweb as the 25-year-old Lotto–Soudal rider is heading to the German squad on a two-year deal. Although Benoot has failed to gain a result as big as his previous win in Tuscany this season, he’s consistently performed at races including the Tour de Suisse, Dwars door Vlaanderen and Tour of Flanders . Despite having started his career with Lotto-Soudal back in 2014, Benoot has been reported as keen to leave since earlier this season.
