Joe Robinson 12 Feb 2020 The Dutchman will now not return to bike racing until early April Tom Dumoulin 's return to professional bike racing will not happen until April as illness forces him to skip Milan-San Remo and Tirreno-Adriatico. The Dutchman was due to make his racing return from injury after eight months on the sidelines at the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana last week. However, a bout of illness saw him withdraw just days before . Initially, the illness did not seem too serious yet Dumoulin has since confirmed that due to not feeling '100% fit', he was forced into missing an altitude camp which will now have the knock-on effect of seeing him skip both Milan San-Remo and Tirreno-Adriatico in March.
