Team Ineos sign World Champion Rohan Dennis, says report

Joe Robinson 9 Dec 2019 Double time trial World Champion puts tough 2019 behind him by joining Ineos Time trial World Champion Rohan Dennis will join Team Ineos in 2020, according to reports. The Adelaide Advertiser is reporting that the Australian has signed a contract with Team Ineos for next season, snubbing offers from the likes of CCC Team and Movistar. Dennis had a turbulent 2019 after signing with Bahrain-Merida from the now-defunct BMC. The 29-year-old mysteriously abandoned the Tour de France mid-stage on the eve of the Pau time trial, for which he was favourite, without injury or illness. The rider immediately left the race and it has since been revealed that he returned to his home in Andorra that evening with psychologist David Spindler.
