Some Big Name Riders Confirmed For This Weekend's British National Championships

Joseph Delves 25 Jun 2019 Start lists released for the British Road National Championships, fans will be treated to a solid field in men's & women's races The end of this week will see a host of new national champion’s jerseys given out. Starting with the time-trial events on Thursday and culminating in the men's and women's road races on Sunday, Norfolk will play host to a mini-festival of racing. Men's race Big names for the men’s race include defending champion Connor Swift (Arkéa-Samsic) and Education First ’s Hugh Carthy, who arrives fresh from a strong showing at the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de Suisse. Former champion Mark Cavendish (Dimension Data) should also be making an appearance ahead of his Tour de France campaign.
