Rapha Celebrates Hampsten's Snowy Giro With Gavia Collection

That was American Andy Hampsten on stage 14 of the 1988 Giro d'Italia , and now 30 years later Rapha has a whole clothing collection that riffs on that brutal day on the Passo di Gavia. BikeRadar's 2018 Bike of the Year awards The cold-weather Gavia collection includes a jersey, rain jacket, rain gloves, bib shorts, baselayer and winter hat. The top layers feature design elements and colours from his squad that year, Team 7-Eleven (but not the trademarked logo).
