Will Strickson 7 Apr 2021 Raleigh Traveller sold by Diana after royal officials said it was 'unfit for a Princess' is expected to fetch £20,000 Princess Diana's 1970s Raleigh Traveller will be up for auction later this month. It was previously sold for £9,200 in 2018 and given a recent rise in interest for Royal memorabilia – especially after the latest series of The Crown focussed on Diana – it is expected to go for more than double that price. Before her marriage to Prince Charles, Diana rode the bike around London and left it chained to the railings outside her Kensington flat – unsurprisingly one of the wheels was once stolen overnight which she described as 'very irritating'.
