Pidcock heads British hopes at Under 23 Tour of Flanders

Joe Robinson 12 Apr 2019 Yorkshireman heads to Classic looking to add to his junior Paris-Roubaix title Tom Pidcock will lead the Great Britain team at the under-23 Tour of Flanders this weekend with the race set to be streamed online. The 19-year-old will be targetting the Cobbled Classic to add to his existing junior Paris-Roubaix title, which he won in 2017. The Yorkshireman is already in good form this season, having taken the under-23 cyclocross World Championship title in January. Pidcock has also taken a victory on the road, securing Stage 2b of Le Triptyque des Monts et Chateaux, riding for trade team Wiggins-Le Col last week. Supporting Pidcock will be Wiggins-Le Col teammate Rob Scott, who is currently under-23 national champion, and recent fourth-place finisher at the under 23 Gent-Wevelgem.
