Perfs Pedal Race cancelled due to weather warnings

Joseph Delves 7 Feb 2020 Domestic season opener called off courtesy of Storm Ciara The Perfs Pedal Race, the traditional kick-off for the domestic season, has been cancelled. Previously due to take place this Sunday, the organisers were forced to make the call with strong winds due to hit the UK this weekend. A Met Office yellow warning is in place across the entire British Isles for all of Sunday. ‘Storm Ciara will bring very strong winds and potentially some disruption to travel throughout Sunday. Injuries and danger to life from flying debris are possible. Some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs, could happen. Road, rail, air and ferry services may be affected, with longer journey times and cancellations possible. Some roads and bridges may close,' said the Met Office's warning.
