Mobius X8 wrist brace review

If you’ve broken your wrist and need some extra support to get back in the saddle, the X8 brace is well worth a look. It comes in two sizes and you really need to follow Mobius’s pre-purchase measuring advice to get the right fit. The articulated upper brace features a tension dial, which is connected via a wire to the heavily-padded cross brace that sits below the wrist to provide adjustable support. To keep it in place, an inner padded liner hooks over your middle finger and there’s a Velcro security strap on the forearm. I found the adjustable level of support extremely useful and was surprised by just how hard I was able to ride after a serious break and three months off the bike.
