Medical investigation into former Team Sky Richard Freeman to be heard in October

Joe Robinson 8 Oct 2019 Trial into Freeman's ordering of testosterone to Manchester velodrome had been adjourned in March The medical tribunal of former British Cycling and Team Sky doctor Richard Freeman into the use of banned substance testosterone on athletes will reconvene this month, having been postponed since March. The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, the body investigating the charges against Freeman, confirmed that the hearing had been relisted to start on Monday 28th October through to Friday 20th December. The hearing into Freeman will look into the allegation that he 'ordered for delivery from Fit4Sport Limited to the Manchester Velodrome 30 sachets of Testogel', a banned substance, in October 2011. It will also look into claimed false statements by Freeman who stated the order was for a non-athlete member of cycling and was subsequently returned to the Fit4Sport Limited company.
