Marcel Kittel to make debut at Milan-San Remo

Joe Robinson 13 Mar 2018 German sprinter to lead Katush-Alpecin at the first Monument of the year Only a week after taking his first victory on Italian soil, Marcel Kittel (Katusha-Alepcin) has confirmed his debut at Milan-San Remo this Saturday. The German will make his first appearance at the the Monument usually referred to as the "sprinters' classic" due to its mainly flat parcours. Kittel will lead the team's sprinting options while the likes of Nathan Haas will help offer an alternative if the sprinter falters before the finish.
