Joe Robinson 5 Jan 2021 Marc Hirschi, one of the breakthrough riders of 2020, mutually agreed termination of his contract with Team DSM One of the breakthrough riders of the 2020 season, Marc Hirschi, has made a surprise and sudden exit from Team DSM . The 22-year-old Swiss rider was still in contract with the Dutch team formerly known as Team Sunweb, however has reached a mutual agreement to terminate the deal early. In a concise statement released on Tuesday afternoon, the team wrote: 'Team DSM has reached a settlement agreement with their rider Marc Hirschi to terminate their present employment before the original end date of 31st December 2021. 'It has been agreed that the agreement will be terminated with immediate effect and that no further comments will be made.
