Grab your Velo and head North for a unique ride in the Pennines

Heading out for a challenging but highly rewarding ride in the stunning countryside of England’s far North East, riders will be welcomed back into Durham at the end of the circuit. Importantly, this is the only closed road sportive in the north of England and will give an experience like no other on the traffic-free roads of the Pennines. Route choices There will be two routes to choose from, covering either 50 or 100 miles. Both start in the shadow of Durham’s chief landmark, its stunning cathedral, before heading out into the rugged North Pennines countryside.
