Goodwood To Host Duchenne Dash Charity Challenge In July

Will Strickson 25 Mar 2021 Duchenne UK event will see riders attempt to collectively cycle 40,000km in 12 hours around Goodwood Motor Circuit Charity cycle challenge the Duchenne Dash will take place at Goodwood Motor Circuit for the first time on 3rd July. The event raises money for Duchenne UK, which funds life-saving research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a muscle-wasting disease that renders many wheelchair-bound by the age of 12. It is the world's biggest genetic killer of children, though almost exclusively affects boys, and a disease for which there is currently no cure. This year's Dash, which is being called The Duchenne Dash: Around the World, will see 300 cyclists attempt to collectively ride the circumference of the world – 40,000km – in 12 hours.
