Cyclist magazine 3 Oct 2017 Take on the 106km route next Spring at the Etape Loch Ness The Etape Loch Ness sportive returns on 28th April 2019 giving riders from near and far the chance to try and spot Nessie, or just have a day out on the bike in stunning surroundings. Covering 106km, the route is on fully closed roads in a fantastic part of the Scotting Highlands. Every year, huge numbers of tourists flock to the loch in the hope of spotting the mythical creature known as the Loch Ness Monster. The centuries old myth may have been pooh-poohed by modern technology which assures us that nothing of this kind lives in below the water, but that doesn't stop people making the journey deep into the Highlands.
