EF's Lachlan Morton completes Colorado Trail in under four days

George Smith 3 Sep 2019 Education First Rider covers over 500 miles in latest ‘alternative’ race Hot on the heels of his dominating performance at the inaugural GBDuro , Education First rider Lachlan Morton has just finished one of his biggest challenges yet: riding the Colorado Trail. The high altitude multi-day solo race covers around 850km from Durango to Denver, where riders must traverse the mountainous terrains of the Centennial State on bike and on foot. Morton’s first attempt saw the Australian complete the race in just 3 days and 22 hours - setting a time only 2 hours shy of the all time record. 'I was totally destroyed afterward,' he said. 'It was a pretty wild experience... my goal was to overcome a lot of my own fears, I feel like I’ve done that now.'
