Dutch sprinter Dylan Groenewegen latest rider confirmed for Tour of Britain

Joe Robinson 21 Aug 2019 Jumbo-Visma rider joins compatriot Mathieu van der Poel as latest rider confirmed for British stage race Four-time Tour de France stage winner Dylan Groenewegen will lead a talented Jumbo-Visma team at the Tour of Britain next month . The Dutch sprinter has been confirmed for the week-long stage race which starts in Glasgow on Saturday 7th September and will look to build upon his two stage wins at the race from his two previous visits. Gronenwegen made his debut at the Tour of Britain in 2016, winning the stage into Builth Wells, before returning in 2017 to win the stage into Cheltenham as well as the points classification. It will continue a successful season for the sprinter from Amsterdam who already has 14 wins including Stage 2 (TTT) and Stage 7 of the Tour de France last month.
