This year's races may still be fresh in the memory, but with what for many is the best part of the year – that is, the Classics season – coming to a close, it's already time to look ahead to next year's dose of cobbles and bergs. Grand Tours are fine but nothing beats the excitement and drama of the one day races, especially anything involving inappropriate road surfaces .
