Cycling Australia reveal new track bike components to rival GB's Lotus-Hope bike

Jack Elton-Walters 8 Nov 2019 New components will be used at the Glasgow Track Cycling World Cup In order to to stop 'the British Cycling team and Hope/Lotus getting all the glory', Bastion has produced new components for the Cycling Australia riders to use at this weekend's track cycling World Cup in Glasgow. The components are a stem, handlebar and crankset. Image 8 of 11 Image 8 of 11 The components have been designed and produced to work with the Argon 18 Electron Pro track bikes. These are used by a number of teams but for Australia-based Bastion it's the home team that's the main focus. 'Bastion has worked very closely with Cycling Australia to develop a suite of components aimed at improving the performance of their athletes through the innovative use of technology,' the brand explained upon the announcement of the new bike parts.
