Chris Froome takes Pinarello time trial bike on a gravel ride

Joe Robinson 29 Jan 2019 Team Sky leader and two teammates prepare for Colombian stage race by taking TT machine off-road Chris Froome has taken to an alternative method of training while in Colombia by taking his time-trial bike on to some of the country's unmade roads. The four-time Tour de France champion posted to both Strava and Instagram to show off his training ride that included taking his Pinarello Bolide bike on some technical looking tracks during a 188km ride in Colombia. Joined by young South American teammates Egan Bernal and Jhonathan Narvaez, Froome spent five and a half hours exploring the countryside just south-east of Medellin, which happened to also include plenty of dirt paths.
