Peter Stuart 22 Mar 2018 Wiggins continues his crusade toward an Olympic rowing spot with his first rowing race in London this Sunday Olympic cycling champion and Tour de France winner Sir Bradley Wiggins is set to continue his crusade into competitive rowing, with an entry in the Veteran's Head of the River Race this weekend, the day after the Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race. Wiggins has so far not competed on a water-based event, only on the rowing machine at the Indoor Rowing Championships . There he fell short of his target of close to six minutes.
