Alice Barnes looking forward to making Canyon-SRAM debut at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad

Jack Elton-Walters 23 Feb 2018 Alice Barnes joins five Canyon-SRAM teammates at the season opening Classic Taking the step up this season, Alice Barnes has followed her sister Hannah to Canyon-SRAM and will this weekend make her debut as one of the team's six riders at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Joing her on the start line will be 2013 winner Tiffany Cromwell, Elena Cecchini, Lisa Klein, Alexis Ryan and Trixi Worrack. ' The Classics are definitely something I really enjoy,' Barnes says when asked about her upcoming season at the team's recent training camp. 'Going in and racing the Classics competitively is something that’s always on my mind. This year I’m really looking forward to having a team where I can race for them and, depending on my form, hopefully I can have the opportunity to try and ride and get a good result for myself,' she adds.
