AG2R La Mondiale join Team Ineos and Jumbo-Visma at Tour of Britain

Joe Robinson 6 Aug 2019 A totlal of 10 WorldTour teams to race Britain's biggest stage race along with Mathieu van der Poel's Corendon-Circus AG2R La Mondiale will line up at the Tour of Britain for the first time in a decade as they join the likes of Team Ineos and Jumbo-Visma as the headline acts at the week-long stage race. They will be joined by a further seven WorldTour teams lining up just a week prior to the UCI World Championships in Yorkshire. Mark Cavendish is expected to be back racing on home soil as part of his Dimension Data team while Education First, Lotto-Soudal, Mitchelton-Scott, Katusha-Alpecin, Team Sunweb and Movistar complete the complement of 10. Beyond the top-tier, five ProContinental squads will also be on the invite list with a Mathieu van der Poel-led Corendon Circus being chief among those .
